Patrick Grossmann qualified as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University College Hospital Dental School, London, in 1974 and completed his Diploma in Orthodontics in 1978. He continued his studies at the University of Freiburg, Germany, where he also translated key orthodontic scientific literature, including Dr. Hugo Stockfisch’s major textbook, for international circulation.

In 1980 he entered private practice while serving for 15 years as Senior Dental Officer in Orthodontics for the South London Area Health Authority and working in the combined orthodontic/maxillofacial clinic at Middlesex Hospital, London.

Inspired by Dr. W. Grossmann and Professor James Moss, he developed a strong interest in craniofacial pain and TMJ dysfunction, collaborating closely for over 25 years with Dr. Brendan Stack, a leading figure in the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.

He is currently establishing a patient self-help group for individuals undergoing treatment for craniofacial conditions. Alongside his clinical practice, he also serves as an expert witness in dento-legal cases.
